What Makes a Fake Account Risky
The instinct for most people is to create a throwaway account on Tinder or Bumble. The problem is that dating apps are designed to show your profile to other active users. If you're within a mile of the person you're searching for, there's a real chance your fake profile surfaces in their stack — or theirs doesn't surface in yours because the algorithm didn't serve it.
Even if they don't recognize your face, a phone number tied to you, a device fingerprint, or a network connection can link the account to your identity in ways that are hard to predict.

How to Keep a Reverse Image Search Private
If you're using Google Images, sign out of your Google account first — or use an incognito window. This prevents the search from being associated with your account history. For TinEye, no account is required and searches are not linked to an identity by default.
