Public sources
PrufAgent searches publicly reachable profile and web signals. It does not hack, access private accounts, bypass logins, or represent weak clues as certainty.
Masked Signal Pass
Visitors see whether useful signal categories exist before the private reveal. Full URLs and sensitive details stay behind secure checkout.
Stripe checkout
Payment is processed by Stripe. PrufAgent does not store raw credit-card numbers, and support can review receipt, access, duplicate-charge, and refund questions.
Responsible-use rules
- No harassment, stalking, threats, doxxing, or illegal use.
- No employment, tenant, credit, insurance, or FCRA decision-making.
- No claim that a match is proof unless the report evidence supports it.
- Use confidence labels and source context before acting on anything.
Support and escalation
Billing, privacy, removal, and abuse reports go to support@prufagent.com. Include receipt email, order date, exact URLs when relevant, and the reason the request needs review. Most support requests receive a first reply within one business day.
